Everything you need to know before you order.
Will my photo work?
Most phone photos work beautifully. Bright, sharp, close-up shots with faces clearly visible give the best detail. Every photo gets a free touch-up from our team before it's engraved.
Can I see a proof before you engrave?
Yes. Add Review Your Design (+$5) and we'll email you a proof to approve before we engrave.
Is the engraving in color?
No. Laser engraving is always white and frosted, so the colors in your photo turn into soft shades of light. That's what gives it its glow.
Can you see the image without the LED base?
Yes. In room light it looks like a frosted etching and shows best in front of something dark. The LED base lights it from below and makes the whole image glow.
Can I add a message to the base?
Yes. You can engrave up to 90 characters on the LED base for $3. It's the perfect spot for names, a date or a short message.
Will the image fade over time?
Never. There's no ink to fade or peel. On crystal the image is engraved inside the glass, and on wood and baseballs it's burned into the surface.
When will my order ship?
Orders placed by 12 PM EST, Monday to Friday, ship the same business day with tracking. Choose Priority Mail at checkout if your date is close.
Can I send it straight to the person?
Yes. Enter their address at checkout. Every order arrives gift-boxed, and you can add a handwritten gift note (+$5).
What if it arrives damaged or isn't right?
Every piece is foam-packed in a gift box. If it still arrives damaged, or the personalization isn't right, email us a photo within 14 days of delivery and we'll make it right. Because each piece is made from your photo, we can't accept change-of-mind returns.
What happens to my photo?
We use it only to make your order. It never appears in our ads or on social media without your permission.
